Idea projektu

The third-year project required designing a medical facility
specializing in heart surgeries, with the added requirement
of including a support unit for doctors, such as a rest room.
The facility also includes an X-ray section, a laboratory,
an ICU unit, and a consulting unit. The goal was to design a facility that breaks away from the
conventional hospital shape. When people see this building,
they should immediately think of it not only as a place for
physical healing but also as a sanctuary for the soul. The aim
was to create something seemingly impossible, transforming
the despair that some people feel when they become ill into a
sense of hope and possibility-The hospital’s capacity is set at 150 beds, with a construction area
spanning 35,000 square meters.
This initiative is significant due to the comprehensive medical services
it will offer, particularly benefiting Iraqi citizens afflicted
by heart diseases. The hospital
will also provide specialized intensive care for both pediatric and
adult patients. The

specialized hospital is expected to serve a population ranging
from 150,000 to 200,000
individuals. The primary structure of the hospital includes
an emergency department, consulting clinics, radiology,
a central pharmacy, a central laboratory, and lobby areas,
as well as classrooms and various service departments

Technické informace

One of the goals that wanted to be achieved
is to achieve the lowest energy
generation through the use of natural materials
such as green roofs, wooden
louvers, or environmentally friendly building
materials such as GRC.
