This ambitious project effectively leverages the strategic potential of Buyan Island, offering a transformative vision that bridges historical context with contemporary urban needs. The master plan skillfully balances geometric precision with organic, biomorphic forms, creating visually striking and engaging spaces. The metal structural system not only provides large, flexible internal spaces but also embodies transparency and openness, essential qualities for an academic campus. However, deeper exploration into how these new interventions integrate functionally and socially with the existing urban fabric and infrastructural network could strengthen the project's feasibility. Overall, this visionary proposal demonstrates thoughtful urban design that respects history, enhances connectivity, and significantly contributes to Omsk’s spatial identity and urban vitality.
